Professional Development & Collaborative Inquiry
Angela is a engaging presenter who designs and delivers interactive workshops based on your content needs. She works with teachers, administrators, consultants and teacher educators to deepen their confidence and knowledge in delivering Indigenous content. She has facilitated processes of Collaborative Inquiry with groups of educators to enhance the outcomes of Indigenous and non-Indigenous students in schools
Angela is a trained educator and has presented to students from K to 12 about the historic and current colonization of Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island, and how Canadians can better understand their roles, rights and responsibilities with respect to treaties.
Facilitation & Curriculum Visioning
Angela has worked with school teams to map their incorporation of Indigenous content. She has also facilitated visioning sessions to help think through next steps based on the strengths and supports in the school and surrounding community.
Angela is a trained coach, and has worked one-on-one with educators for over five years to design, improve and extend their lessons. She creates a judgement-free space for exploration and learning, and helps anticipate questions students might have.
